Characterising the legendary style of Portugieser watches from the 1930’s, IWC Schaffhausen has balanced a simplified dial layout with a powerful movement in this 42mm Portugieser Chronograph Classic watch, Its luxurious 18ct 5N rose gold case interacts beautifully with a refined dark brown leather strap with traditional pin buckle fastening. The buckle is engraved with the IWC lettering to match with the company logo emblazoned onto the surface of the watch’s silver plated dial at 9 o’clock. Accompanying this feature is a combined chronograph sub counter at 12 o’clock featuring minutes and hours together. On the opposite end of the dial, the small seconds dial can be found at 6 o’clock.
This men’s IWC Portugieser Chronograph Classic watch also features polished 18ct rose gold push pieces at 2 and 4 o’clock on the dial for effortless control over measuring elapsed time. A 68 hour power reserve is delivered by one of IWC Schaffhausen’s most reliable in house made chronograph movements to date. The Calibre 89361 boasts a total of 299 individual hand assembled components to its engine and beautiful Cotes de Geneve decoration that can be viewed through a transparent caseback feature.
